Samuel Brien
Samuel Brien is a linguist, interpreter, educator, and founder based in Cambodia whose career reflects more than twenty years of practical multilingual communication work across technical, creative, institutional, and international environments. He founded The Quill to build a language organization that prioritizes meaning over mechanics, cultural fluency over shortcuts, and human accountability over automation. His strength lies in his ability to absorb subject matter systems deeply, ensuring that language is not just converted, but understood, structured, and delivered in a way that institutions and audiences can act on and trust. His linguistic discipline is strengthened by earlier technical field roles in Canadian civil engineering and land surveying, which gave him fluency in structured documentation, standardization, field processes, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Today, Samuel continues to demonstrate that multilingual communication can be delivered from Southeast Asia at world class standards while remaining human, culturally fluent, and rooted in trusted communication.
